When customers approach us for an installation, one of the first things we ask for is the size and dimensions of the space they want the wardrobe to be fitted. Our wardrobes are made to measure which means we design the wardrobe to accommodate each customer’s specific requirements. A huge part of the installation process is navigating an area and dealing with any obstructions that come with it.

For example, this large space where the customer wanted his six-door wardrobe included a structural slope and beam. Which proved awkward for our expert team of installers.

The most complicated aspect of the installation was creating an all-round solution for such a large area. Our principal designer created the best use of the space and provided the installers with a guide for what they needed to do to accommodate it. They worked under the beam and created a framework in front of the slope.

The wardrobe’s interior was designed to achieve the right balance between single hanging, long hanging rails and drawers inside the wardrobe. Once that was done, the interior was divided into six sections to match the number of the wardrobe’s doors. The rest of the space was taken up by appropriate shelving up to the slope to maximise the storage.

The wardrobe was fitted to completion, successfully providing plentiful storage space while incorporating the beam and slope into the interior.

If you have a large space that you want to create effective storage solution and cover it with beautiful made to measure sliding doors, we are sure that we will find the best solution for you, as we have done for many of our customers for the past fifteen years.
