The Customer’s Full Experience

In October 2019, Simply Sliding Wardrobes installed a sliding wardrobe in the home of the Matt and Sarah Colclough. The following is an account of their experience with us with quotes from Sarah herself.

Matt and Sarah were looking to have a built-in sliding door wardrobe fitted in their master bedroom ever since they moved into their home four years ago, but financial constraints had delayed those plans.

Thanks to a glowing recommendation from their brother-in-law, who was a previous customer for Simply Sliding Wardrobes, Sarah and Matt decided to look us up and found that we were running a discount on our installations, which gave them the perfect opportunity to start their long awaited project.

Matt and Sarah got in contact with our Principal Designer to arrange an appointment, when meeting with the designer to discuss their ideas for the wardrobe’s theme, they found him to be a great help.

“The designer was absolutely fine, he came out to see us every single time. He was really patient, went through things with us. David was very happy to have a look with me at their plans. He was quite understanding and listened to the changes we wanted and made them.”

Their goal was to have a truly stunning wardrobe that captured what they felt their old wardrobe was lacking.

“My husband in particular had quite an image of what he wanted, what we were looking for really was something that was much nicer to look at, because the wardrobes in our bedroom were really ugly and old and falling apart, and a better use of the space.”

There was little trouble for Matt and Sarah on deciding what they wanted for their wardrobe, but that didn’t stop new ideas from formulating.

“I found that David knew what he was doing, we had lots of ideas and together they put together a really good design.”

When the time finally came to install Matt and Sarah’s wardrobe, Matt disposed of their old wardrobe and decorated the room so the brand new wardrobe could take its place.

Matt and Sarah’s home was given great care and consideration from the fitter who had been sent to assemble the wardrobe.

“He (the fitter) was definitely one of the best kind of workman I’ve had in the house. He was really respectful of the house, respectful of being clean and tidy, I just felt very comfortable with him in the house. He took a lot of pride in his work as well.”

The wardrobe was custom made to fit with Matt and Sarah’s requirements, a bespoke 4-Door interior multi-panel finish with silver mirrors and silver frames, deeper drawers, a pull out trouser rail, external lighting, and a space reserved for their television.

Sarah was very pleased with the end result and the effect the wardrobe has had on the master bedroom.

“I like the way that it’s opened our room up and made the room feel brighter.”

She was especially pleased with the wardrobe’s external lighting.

“We also decided to have the lights above the wardrobe. They make a massive difference, and I’m really pleased we did that.”

Looking back on their experience with Simply Sliding Wardrobes, Sarah had this to say:

“I was just really pleased, it did take us a long time to make the decision to move forward. Just down to time and money constraints and I felt that there was never any pressure for us to make a decision, and David was always willing to come back and talk to us face to face and go over everything to make sure we were happy with everything. Then when it actually came down us agreeing that we were gonna go for it, it didn’t take very long to happen which was really nice, and just everybody that we dealt with was really friendly and really amiable.”

When asked if she would recommend Simply Sliding Wardrobes to others, for Sarah, there was no doubt:

“Yes I definitely would, yep. I’ve already had someone approach me from my road asking who it was, who had done the wardrobes because they’d seen the van here, if I’d pass the details on to somebody else already.”
