Sliding Wardrobes - Customer Reviews

This is my second installation from Simply Sliding Wardrobes. The whole process was smooth from the start; picking from a wide range of finishes and designs was the hardest part! I was able to choose the date I wanted with no delay, and was kept informed of the process all the way along. The installers arrived on time, and completed the work with as little fuss and mess as possible, and quicker than anticipated. I was given the chance to inspect the work, and given a quick run through of the improvements made to the wardrobes since my first installation in 2018. I cannot recommend enough!

We needed new wardrobes. The decision to get fitted wardrobes was a spur of the moment thing. We are so glad we went for Simply Sliding wardrobes. From the original phone call requesting a free design consultation, to the completion of the work, the whole process was seamless. My wardrobes are brilliant.

Reason for changing our wardrobe….
We live in a new build four bed property with a two door sliding wardrobe in the main bedroom. Our bedroom had become a huge stress because the wardobe did not meet our needs. This tiny space had to cater for the needs of two people! Our clothing and shoes were now being stored in other rooms and even made it into our hall and our clothing was becoming creased. The wardrobe capacity just couldn’t cope and neither could we!

Quotation….
We completed the online quotation request and had a response the following day. David came out to see us at the end of that week. We sat and explained what we wanted whilst David jotted some drawings and went through the choice of designs. He came up with ideas we had not even considered, he is very talented!

Brief…
We wanted a three door sliding wardrobe with plenty of space for shoes. We also wanted lots of hanging space.

We asked David the owner if we could remove the doors from our current wardrobe and incorporate the alcove which would be left behind in the new design. I did not know how we could do this but it would allow us to utilise this additional space.

Wardobe choices….
Floored once again at the huge choice of designs and colours! I changed my mind so many times. But it had to be the beautiful silver sparkle… ‘you can tell a woman is writing this review!’ In the light this choice gives a beautiful rainbow affect under lighting.

Price …..
We were admittedly terrified of the quotation we may receive, Sharps had already been out and quoted us just for the carcass alone £7,500!! The price we were given by David nearly floored us, to the extent that we had to ask him to repeat, we were on a tight budget and this brought us under! Based on the design and price we immediately agreed to go ahead with the order and paid the minimum deposit.

Fitting …..
Two lovely guys turned up and completed the work. They were friendly, tidy and did the work perfectly to David’s design and specification.

Overall…..
How can a wardrobe change a life!? This is exactly what our wardrobe has done. Our bedroom has been transformed,
Not only does the wardrobe look
Aesthetically pleasing, we have gained triple the space we had previously and we can finally find things. I had new items I did not know I had because I can now see what we actually own in a glance. The doors slide beautifully, not like our previous ones!

Recommendation…
This is a review to help other potential purchasers. In a nut shell would I recommend? Yes, in an absolute heartbeat. Everything was outstanding from start to finish and most importantly we got what we wanted, and more. The cost was more than competitive, I don’t think you will find a better price. We are more than happy with what we have paid for.

This job exceeded our expectations and requirements. From the initial quotation which was fast, informative and provided us with ideas we had not considered. The choice of door finishes was a tough one because there were so many options of beatiful designs to choose from. David, the owner really knows his trade and puts the customer at the heart of everything he does. The fitting was outstanding, no mess left and workmanship was exceptional. We were in a brand new 4 bed property with a single two door wardrobe, now we have a beautifullly designed wardrobe with so much space.
